Their early years conisistend of local pubs and open mic nights. But it wasn't until the release of their debut single, "Chicken Fried," that they made incredible traction. Signed to Atlantic Records and Live Nation Artist Records, Zac Brown Band found their much deserved breakthrough with the release of their debut album The Foundation. The effort featured four top charting hits, "Chicken Fried," "Toes," "Highway 20 Ride," and "Free." The band moved on to releasing several more successufl albums and chart performing hits, earning up to 14 number 1 singles on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay chart.
