With the warm welcome to his comeback, he’s officially extending it to 2026 with 90 more dates to make sure that all his fans have the chance to see him back in larger venues. Now is the chance to hear the comedy icon’s classic parodies and even his rarely performed tracks!
As a 5-time Grammy Award winner, comedy musician, writer, and actor Alfred Matthew "Weird Al" Yankovic first became famous because of his remarkable parodies of iconic songs and music videos, like Queen’s Another One Bites The Dust to Another One Rides The Bus in 1980, Michael Jackson’s Beat It to his Eat It in 1984, and even Madonna’s Like A Virgin to Like A Surgeon in 1985. Weird Al has taken a rather long break from parodies and has been successful in his other endeavors, saying he would like “to get more involved in feature films and TV, and I love voice acting. I want to still keep doing music, and I still love touring, obviously”. His career decisions led him to become one of the most distinguished comedians of all time, even becoming the biggest-selling comedy recording artist in history, selling more than 12 million albums.
Weird Al is sharing his tour with 7-foot entertainer Puddles Pity Party as his opening act. The whiteface clown costume-wearing entertainer will be performing his mime, silent prop comedy, and baritone singing to start the evening of unstoppable laughter led by Weird Al. Puddles also sings song covers of his own, so attendees can also watch out for that!
The natural outdoor setting of Merriweather Post Pavilion will stage Weird Al’s show in Maryland. Once ranked by Billboard as the second-best amphitheater in the United States, the venue has large screens that make the audience more immersed in the shows they stage.
