Train tickets

Train is celebrating 25 years of Drops of Jupiter in the Atmosphere. Let that one sink in! Where were you when this album dropped? It doesn't really matter if you were even around; you can enjoy the music of one of the most underrated bands of the 2000s at the Merriweather Post Pavilion on Friday, July 17th.

In case you didn't get the memo, that this performance promises to be a stroll down memory lane, the Barenaked Ladies will be part of the lineup for this summer tour. You might know them from the Big Bang Theory theme song or one of their other flagship tracks, "One Week." Matt Nathanson, who also produced hits right around the turn of the century, will be in charge of getting us started.

If you're in a particular age group, this might just top your list of the best performances at this venue all year. Knowing that, you can't afford to miss it! The logic really is that simple. Make sure you click the "Buy Tickets" link soon before they start running out.

Drops of Jupiter 25 Years in the Atmosphere Tour

There's a silver lining to the harsh reality that "Drops of Jupiter" is turning 25. That is the fact that they've used as an excuse to go on tour. It's harsh, though, because you might be getting a flood of memories around the first time you heard that song or what you were going through at the time. Is your "Soul Sister" still your actual soul sister? Even if that's not the case, this is a great excuse to come out to the Merriweather Post Pavilion and relive the good ol' days.

Take The Train Back in Time & Stay There a While

This is pretty much the invitation that you're getting at this event. Yes, Train have released new songs over the years, including a full album in 2022, titled "AM Gold." You might want to check some of those songs out just so they don't hit you with a curveball at this performance. At the end of the day, though, from the opening act, that's going to be Matt Nathanson; this is a stroll down memory lane. It's a night to recall the emotions and the memories that you may have created when "Soul Sister" was playing in the background. The reality is that we get chances to do that all that often anymore. That's why you can't afford to miss this July 17th performance.

Where to be at the Merriweather Post Pavilion

There are obviously multiple spots where you could potentially have a blast at this performance. Let's break the venue down into three main sections, though, to try and make the decision a lot easier. You've got the front of the theater to stand up the entire evening and have a true rock show experience. There are similar vibes to be had toward the back of the lawn. You're not close to the band, but you're in a similar atmosphere for a fraction of the price. Then there's the middle of the theater! A place to sit with a great view. You're getting a different vibe, but it might be exactly what you're looking for.

Get Your Tickets Soon!

Speaking of the good deals, you'll find those again toward the back of the theater. Tickets start at $63. Click the "Buy Tickets" link today.
