Get ready for a rotating cast of special guests for each stop on the tour, with Japanese Breakfast stopping in Columbia, MD, as part of the bill with headliner Death Cab for Cutie. 

Death Cab for Cutie

Death Cab for Cutie is an iconic indie band from Bellingham, WA, formed in 1997. You will likely hear many important songs as lead vocalist Ben Gibbard guides the band through them. You can expect to hear songs like "I Will Follow You into the Dark," "Soul Meets Body," "I Will Possess Your Heart," and the iconic "Transatlanticism." Death Cab for Cutie has received numerous Grammy Award nominations, including Best Alternative Album for Plans. 

Japanese Breakfast

Japanese Breakfast is an indie pop band from Philadelphia. Come and listen to vocalist Michelle Zauner lead the band through their greatest hits like "Be Sweet," "Paprika," "Everybody Wants to Love You," and "Road Head." Experience their latest release of 2025, For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women), although it came after their Grammy-nominated album Jubilee in 2021. 

Merriweather Post Pavilion Information

Merriweather Post Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheater located at 10475 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia, MD 21044. This venue is recognized as one of the best in the US! The amphitheater offers a number of seating options, such as covered and open lawn seating, reserved seating, and general admission seating. All seating areas have ADA accommodations available for those who require them. The venue can hold 19,000+Merriweather Post Pavilion guests! You can find food and drink options available at cashless concession stands. You can purchase beer, wine, liquor, and mixed drinks, as well as non-alcoholic beverages. If you are planning on attending events at this venue, remember that there are limitations to the size of bags you can bring (13″×15″). Parking Information

Parking is free in downtown Columbia! You can find several different lots that will help you get to the venue quickly and efficiently. ADA parking is available in Lots 2 and 4. The parking attendants will guide you on where to park your vehicle, as it will be conveniently located close to the venue.
