Summer of Light Tour

The Fray will perform at this outdoor amphitheater on Friday August 14th 2026 during their Summer of Light Tour which will present an exceptional alternative rock concert. The event begins at 5:30 PM when the gates open before the 7:00 PM start of the performances. You'll catch Dashboard Confessional and Colony House accompanying The Fray for this outstanding triple bill. The tour presents The Fray's new album "A Light That Waits" as the team performs across North America beginning in Moncton and Montreal then continuing to Cleveland and other cities. The evening will bring an electrifying atmosphere because three leading musical groups will unite to perform an unforgettable show in Columbia Maryland.

The Fray

The Fray starts their performance with their Diamond-certified song "How to Save a Life" which has reached 11x Platinum status from the RIAA. The Denver-based band, created by Isaac Slade and Joe King in 2002, will entertain you with more classics like "You Found Me" and "Over My Head (Cable Car)". The band performs their present songs from their 2026 album "A Light That Waits". The Fray received Grammy nominations for Best Pop Performance and Best Rock Performance. 

Dashboard Confessional

Come and sing along to Dashboard Confessional's favorite songs "Vindicated", "Hands Down" and "Stolen" when they perform them. The emotional delivery of Chris Carrabba's vocals will lead you to experience the core elements of emo music which defined the genre! The Boca Raton natives received Platinum certification for their MTV Unplugged 2.0 release when they established their band in 1999. The album "All The Truth That I Can Tell" (2022) from their latest release reached #1 position on Billboard's Independent Albums chart. The band received their first MTV Video Music Award nomination after their initial live performance.

Colony House

The indie rock band Colony House will perform their popular songs "Silhouettes" and "You Know It" and "Cannonballers" while you dance to their energetic music. The Franklin Tennessee group which Caleb and Will Chapman established with Scott Mills and Parke Cottrell in 2009 brings fresh enthusiasm to the team. Their first album climbed to No. 154 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on Heatseekers Albums. 

Merriweather Post Pavilion Information

You'll experience this performance at Merriweather Post Pavilion, located at 10475 Little Patuxent Pkwy, Columbia, MD 21044. This famous outdoor amphitheater accommodates approximately 19,000 visitors across two different zones: covered pavilion seating and general admission lawn seating.
